Tree pruning is best monsoon protection

Pruning your trees and not overwatering them is the best way to protect them during Arizona’s monsoons, experts say.
Daniel Stevens, owner of Living Tree Service in Phoenix and a certified arborist, says overgrown and top-heavy trees are most at risk during a monsoon’s high winds.
“Usually the trees that are breaking the most have not been pruned properly or not pruned at all,” Stevens says. “They have excessive end weight on the tips of the branches.” Read full article

I have 5 trees planted 1-1/2 yrs ago and all are 25ft. tall. 3 are weeping acacias and 2 dollar Euca. trees.
After reading your article I do not think they were over waters, and did get some pruning. Could you come out
and tell us what you think and what there might be to do to re-support them?
